CommonHealth ACTION (CHA) is a national, nonprofit public health organization that works to build the capacity of communities and organizations to create equal opportunities for all people to achieve optimal health.

UX & Interface Design

The design of the site drew inspiration from the bright colors and illustrative nature of the CHA logo. I worked with CHA to design a responsive website that focuses on navigation and highlights the wealth of content housed on the site. As responsive sites have started to become more prevalent, I started noticing a pattern of many sites looking almost exactly the same. I am a firm believer in “function over fashion” however, I needed to make this site stand out. I did so by creating a system of icons to complement each section of the site.
